Have you ever noticed that some people never seem to age? They look as timelessly beautiful today as they did 10 or even 20 years ago. How can that be? Granted some of them may have the unfair advantage of really good genes, and others may have had aesthetic work done to restore their youthful appearances, but that isn’t always the case. Some women have beautiful skin simply because they have established a series of excellent habits. There are many things that you can do to renew your skin, but these top five are common amongst women with naturally beautiful skin.

1.  Remove makeup every night.

Women with beautifully flawless skin are diligent about removing their makeup, no matter how tired they may be. Sometimes it is tempting when you stay out late or fall asleep on the sofa watching a movie, to go to bed with your makeup on. This can harm your skin. Certain skin cells are supposed to be shed daily. If you leave your makeup on and don’t cleanse your face, these cells can stick to your skin. This could cause breakouts or even exacerbate fine lines on your face.

2.  Get enough sleep.

Speaking of sleep, women with gorgeous skin know that rest is good for their bodies, both inside and out. Depending on your stage of life and circumstances, getting enough sleep can be difficult, however, it is important to let your body rest and renew itself. It is during sleep that your skin repairs itself. So, turn off your devices and try to unplug from the world for about eight hours each night.

3. Make healthy choices.

Women who have beautiful skin generally radiate good health and vitality. This is because they are in the habit of making healthy choices. They understand that before they can perform a job, take care of children, or anything else, they must take care of themselves. Their skin reflects a choice to follow a healthy lifestyle. This usually includes eating right, drinking plenty of water, and staying active each day.

4. Use good quality skincare products.

Just like they fuel their bodies with good nutrition, women with healthy looking skin recognize the importance of quality skin care products. There are so many products on the market today for skincare. Moisturizers, masks, scrubs, and serums.  How do you know which ones to choose? Women with radiant skin read the labels and may even splurge a little more on quality skincare to protect their skin. After all, unlike shoes or handbags, you can’t trade out your skin for new skin if you don’t take care of it.

5. Keep things clean.

Besides trying to keep their skin clean daily, women with beautiful appearances also keep things that their skin encounters clean. They sleep on clean pillowcases, wipe off their mobile phones daily, and try not to touch their faces too often. They are diligent about protecting their face from bacteria and grime. Women with flawless skin avoid using dirty makeup brushes or sponges on their face.
